10:00 & 11:00 permit group (First Timers and Standard Trip on Lower Yough) – Trip Lead – Lew Glaeser We will be having a brief meeting at the Pavilion at 9:00am and then leaving the campsite at 9:30am. Dropping boats at the put-in and setting shuttle. Come dressed and ready to paddle. If you are a day tripper for this group, have your boats dropped off at the put-in no later than10:00amand be ready to set shuttle. We will be walking to the river at 10:45am on the dot, please DO NOT BE LATE

This is a BCKC official clinic and club membership is required. Please let me know if you need gear for this event by Wednesday during the week of the trip.
The Shenandoah Staircase is a scenic river near Harper's Ferry, WV. This river is a lot wider than any of the rivers we have been on yet. There are a lot of features and we can make this river as hard or as easy as needed.
This river is going to be warmer and the sun will be shining. Be sure to bring a snack, plenty of water and sunscreen
